Enter one month of usage to instantly calculate your bill, from the per-tier breakdown to the final amount due. Based on KEPCO (Korea Electric Power Corporation) residential low-voltage rates, reflecting Q4 2026 rates.
※ This is a standalone calculation using residential low-voltage rates only. Welfare discounts (for people with disabilities, multi-child households, basic livelihood recipients, etc.), the guaranteed minimum-usage deduction, and apartment common-area charges are not reflected. Your actual bill may differ by tens of won depending on meter-reading dates and day-count proration.
This calculator applies the residential (low-voltage) rate table in Appendix 1 of KEPCO's General Supply Terms (in effect June 1, 2026) as-is: base charges of ₩910 / ₩1,600 / ₩7,300, energy charges of ₩120.0 / ₩214.6 / ₩307.3 per kWh, a climate & environment charge of ₩9.0/kWh, a fuel cost adjustment of +₩5/kWh (Q4 2026, announced by KEPCO on September 21, 2026), VAT of 10%, and the Electricity Industry Infrastructure Fund at 2.7%. The calculation method and tier table are explained in the progressive rates guide.

Q. How many progressive rate tiers are there?
Residential (low-voltage) service has 3 tiers. The boundaries are 200 and 400 kWh in non-summer months and 300 and 450 kWh in summer (July–August), and each tier has a different base charge (₩910 / ₩1,600 / ₩7,300) and per-kWh rate (₩120.0 / ₩214.6 / ₩307.3).
Q. How much is the electricity bill for 350 kWh?
₩70,640 in non-summer months. In summer, the tier boundaries widen to 300 and 450 kWh, so the same 350 kWh costs ₩59,980.
Q. Why does my bill jump sharply when my usage rises only a little?
When you cross a tier boundary, the base charge applied to the whole month rises, and usage above the boundary is billed at a higher per-kWh rate. The threshold effect is largest when you pass 400 kWh (450 kWh in summer), where the base charge jumps from ₩1,600 to ₩7,300.
Q. Can the calculated result differ from my actual bill?
Yes. Welfare discounts, the allocation of common-area electricity charges in apartment buildings, and day-count proration over the meter-reading period are not reflected in this calculator, so your actual billed amount may differ by tens of won or more. Check your KEPCO bill for the exact amount.
